1. Information processed and purposes

The app processes facility names, display messages, supported water-quality values, temperature, humidity and particulate readings, display settings and power schedules. Some settings and recent input values are stored on your device to preserve configuration and prepare display content.

Equipment connection information includes equipment type, addresses and ports, equipment identifiers, sensor addresses, connection status, responses and measurements. Network interface information or an equipment MAC address received in a diagnostic response may be processed temporarily for connection checks. A user-entered SDK Key is stored in app settings; the SDK Secret is stored in the device's secure storage for equipment authentication.

Display images may be generated in the app cache. Connection addresses, commands, responses and errors may appear in local diagnostic logs. The app has no automatic upload of these logs to an operator collection server.

If you email support, your sender address, message and any attachments are processed to answer and investigate your request. Do not include unnecessary personal information, passwords or equipment secrets.

The app contains no advertising or behavioral analytics tools. It has no feature to collect contacts, photo-library content, microphone or camera recordings, advertising IDs, GPS coordinates or movement history. Personal information entered in a display message or support request is nevertheless part of that content.

2. Equipment communication and recipients

The app sends display values, facility names and messages, display images, schedules and control commands to the equipment address you configure, and receives equipment status and sensor data. HTTP authentication sends an SDK Key and authentication signature, not the SDK Secret itself.

The environmental-sensor feature accesses a configured private-network sensor endpoint without sending display SDK credentials. When automatic display is configured, a sensor endpoint and display rules may be stored on the display equipment so it can periodically fetch values independently.

The app has no feature that automatically sends this equipment data or logs to a separate operator-owned central server, an advertising company or an analytics company. Storage and access on equipment or servers you configure are controlled by the local equipment administrator. Content sent to a display may be visible to people at the facility.

3. Permissions

Network and Wi‑Fi permissions support connection checks and equipment communication. Android location permission and the location-service enabled state may be requested or checked for system requirements related to Wi‑Fi functionality. The app does not retrieve GPS coordinates or store or transmit location history.

You can change permissions in Android Settings → Apps → DispCtrl → Permissions. Denying permission or disconnecting the local network may limit connection features. The app does not request camera, microphone or contacts permissions.

4. Retention and deletion

App settings and recent inputs remain on the device until changed or app data is cleared. Use Android Settings → Apps → DispCtrl → Storage → Clear data; labels vary by device. Clearing app data removes authentication information held by the app. The current connection settings screen may reject empty authentication fields depending on the selected communication mode, so use app-data clearing to remove all stored credentials. App cache or app-data clearing removes cached display images.

Clearing phone app data does not erase information already saved on display or sensor equipment. The equipment administrator must remove or replace equipment content and automatic tasks. Android backup and restore behavior depends on the device and your backup settings; restored settings may need to be cleared again.

Support correspondence is deleted without delay once the inquiry and related follow-up have been completed. If applicable law requires retention, only the necessary information is retained for the legally required period and then deleted.

There is no app user account to delete.

5. Security

Settings are kept in operating-system app storage and the SDK Secret uses secure device storage. Use a device lock and appropriate local-network access controls. Some equipment uses unencrypted HTTP or TCP; authentication signatures do not encrypt traffic. We do not represent all equipment communication as encrypted. Use a trusted restricted network and do not expose equipment ports directly to the Internet.

Remove unnecessary personal information and secrets before sending screenshots or diagnostic logs to support.

6. Choices and requests

You may edit settings and values, revoke permissions or clear app data. Contact the email below to request access, correction, deletion or restriction of personal information you have provided through support. Any legal constraint preventing immediate processing will be explained.

Automatic sensor polling configured on the equipment may continue after you close the app. Disable the automatic display task in app or equipment settings to stop that equipment-side activity.

7. This webpage and external services

This policy webpage has no registration, submission form, advertisements, visitor-analytics script or operator-added tracking cookies. Hosting providers may process IP addresses, request times and browser information when serving or securing ordinary web requests. This does not send your equipment data to this webpage.

App distribution, operating-system backup and email providers handle information under their own privacy policies.
